MESSIAH FELLOWSHIP

Messiah Fellowship was founded by Pastor Eliazer Sajja with a vision to reach the world for Jesus Christ.

MISSION OF MESSIAH FELLOWSHIP:

Our mission is to build a multidimensional church that trains and equips people for their ministry, working together for the glory of God, reaching our world for Jesus Christ.

VISION OF THE CHURCH:

Our vision is to help people discover who they are in Christ and what belongs to them as children of God. Also, to help people find God's plan and purpose for their individual lives and equip them into disciples of Jesus, full of faith, wisdom and the Holy Spirit

WHAT WE VALUE:

Love is the foundation for life and is the most important characteristic of a Christian according to Mark 12:30 – 31.

A spirit of excellence honors God and inspires people.

Anointed teaching and discipleship is the catalyst for transformation in individuals’ lives in the church.

Life changing spiritual transformation is best facilitated through small groups.

Spiritual maturity is evidenced by prayer, the empowering of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

We believe that children are a blessing of the Lord, and the family is God’s design.

We believe that God is a restorer and a rebuilder; therefore, we believe that people Who have experienced the pain and suffering can find hope, healing, freedom and a place in ministry in the local church.

OUR FAITH STATEMENTS:

The Scriptures:
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, the product of holy men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The New Covenant, as recorded in the New Testament, we accept as our infallible guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine. (II Tim. 3:16; I Thes. 2 :13; II Pet, 1:21).

The Godhead:
Our God is one, but manifested in three persons - Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, being co-equal, (Phil. 2:6). God the Father is greater than all, the sender of the Word (Logos) and the Begetter (John 14:28; John16:28; John 1:14). The Son is the Word flesh -covered, the Begotten, and has existed with the Father from the beginning (John 1:1; John 1:18; John 1:14). The Holy Spirit proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and is eternal (John 15:26).

Man, His Fall and Redemption:
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God. But through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world "... all have sinned and come short of the glory of God," and "...There is none righteous, no, not one." Jesus Christ, the Son of God was manifested to undo the work of the devil and gave His blood to redeem and restore God to man, separate from the works and the Law, and is made operative by grace man back to God. (Rom. 5:12-15; Rom. 3:10; Rom. 3:23; I John 3:8) Salvation is a gift of through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. (Eph. 2:8-10)God to man, separate from the works and the Law, and is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God. (Eph. 2:8-10).

Eternal Life and the New Birth:
Man's first step toward salvation is godly sorrow that worketh repentance. The New Birth is necessary to all men, and when experienced produces eternal life. (II Cor. 7:10; I John 5:12; John 3:3-5).

Water Baptism:
Baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col 2:12; Acts 8:36 -39). The following recommendation regarding the water baptism; formula is adopted; to wit: "On the confession of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen."

Sanctification:
The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord. We believe in the Doctrine of Sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ's return. (Heb. 12:14; I Thess. 5:23; II Pet. 3:18; II Cor. 3:18; Phil. 3:12-14; I Cor. 1:30)

Divine Healing:
Healing is for Physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ, and is the privilege of every member of the Church today. (Mark 16:18; James 5:14 -15; I Peter 2:24; Matt. 8:17; Is. 53: 4-5).

Resurrection of the Just and The Return of The Lord:
The angels told Jesus' disciples,"...this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven." His coming is imminent. When He comes,"... the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air...". (Acts 1:11; I Thess. 4:16-17) Following the Tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and together with His saints who shall be kings and priests, He shall reign a thousands years (Rev. 20:6).

Hell and Eternal Retribution:
The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. The terms "Eternal" and "Everlasting:, used in describing the duration of punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the Presence of God ( Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19:20)

OUR CURRENT MINISTRIES

MEN’S MINISTRY

Men's Ministries exists to develop men of character, faith and purpose. We desire to lead men to a saving knowledge of Christ, help build them up in their daily walk with Christ, and inspire them to be sent out to serve in the name of Christ.

At Messiah Fellowship, men from all backgrounds and age groups come together to help one another and discover how God wants us to live as we "develop men of God, who in turn will influence their world for Christ." Our purpose is to serve and value each man by reaching out in the love of Jesus Christ. We would accomplish this by offering opportunities for spiritual growth, accountability, prayer, Bible study and service to others.
Topics such as handling your finances, ministering to your wife and children, being a man of God vs. a man of the world and other such areas are ministered to the men attending this fellowship.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The Women’s Ministry meets on the second Tuesday of every month from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. It is a wonderful time of sharing, praying and service unto God.

The Women’s Ministry focuses on a wide range of topics for women of all ages and walks in life. Women come together to support one another, and have great worship, in each of the fellowship events created especially for women. You can share fellowship and accountability with other women while deepening your relationship with God.

YOUTH MINISTRY

The goal of our Youth Ministry is to teach our young family members how to serve God and to prepare them as they grow into adult Christians. The Youth Ministry focuses on biblical teachings and open discussions designed to help the youth see the will of God in their own lives. The Youth Ministry meets in a relaxed and fun atmosphere where everyone’s comments are welcomed and encouraged.

This ministry will assist youth with achieving their potential with guidance from committed and spirit filled adults. The youth department meets every Friday night with special events planned for youth throughout the year.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

The Children’s Church is a Sunday service designed specifically for children. Children are taught the stories of the Bible in an exciting and fun environment of love and nurturing. There are many hands-on activities where the children can express themselves as they grow spiritually. The children are taught Biblical principles through the use of games and activities that stimulate their minds and their spirits!

The Children’s Church was created as a way to teach children how to praise and serve the Lord Jesus Christ and is aimed at preparing the children to enter the church body of Christ. It is our desire to see the children experience the lessons of the Bible first hand and learn how to apply it in their daily lives.

PRAYER MINISTRY

Members of our prayer teams have a burden to pray for you and with you. They stand in the gap for you and intercede in prayer on your behalf when you can't stand-alone or when you need assistance in seeking help for victory or deliverance from the difficulties of life.

Your issues and problems in this journey of life are our problems and issues too because we love you even though we may not know you. Let us help you! Share your requests with our anointed and committed prayer teams. All of our prayers no matter what form of prayer is backed up by the word of God.

HOPE CENTER FOR CHILDREN

Nothing is more heart breaking than the thought of children with no one to care for them. Burdened by this knowledge and need, Messiah fellowship offers a dynamic approach to confront the orphan problem through establishing church based Hope Centers. Hope centers are established to deliver children from economic, physical, social and spiritual poverty, enabling them to become model citizens. Hope Centers provide children with residential care, medical care, counseling, spiritual development, educational and vocational training.
